It is absolutely shocking how many unsafe products, handmade or not, are advertised (on etsy, facebook, instagram, google – you name it) for use by infants, without any real concerns for their safety or well-being.
Over the years we have spent a lot of time and money on finding premium and baby safe supplies. As well as making sure that each and every one of our product designs has been independently laboratory tested and successfully passed all aspects of mechanical safety testing to mandatory Australian Safety Standards.

Cosmetic wear and tear can start within weeks of use of a product and some accelerators, such as extreme heat, contact with water, saliva, food, hard surfaces and others, may shorten the life span of your product.
Please ensure that you follow the care instructions, as outlined below and provided with your product packaging, correctly to get the most out of your cheeky toes product.
Wear and tear is natural and not considered a fault of our products.
PLEASE NOTE: All wooden
components in our products are natural materials and therefore it is possible that they may crack due to hairline fractures, different
density and dryness of the wood. Although this is quite rare, in the
case your product does crack, please contact us immediately with a clear photo of fracture and under no circumstance continue to let your child use the item.
Generally you can expect to get a minimum of 6 months of use out of each items. Exact lifespan individually depends on frequency of use and other factors explained and outlined above.
Our Toys
All our toys (teething toys, play gym toys and pram garlands/toys) have been deemed safe by an independent laboratory for children of the
age from 0+ months. Even though all our toys are mechanically hard
wearing and durable, please only let your little one use our toys under adult supervision. Do not leave your baby/child unattended when using our products.
Our toys all carry the age grading 0+ months and can be safely played with from the start. Every child is different as to how quickly it develops and learns, so please apply your parental judgement when it comes to the right time to let your baby start playing with our toys.
Even though all our products are also safe to teeth on, we do recommend choosing one of our actual teething toys for the purpose of helping your little one through the often painful and stressful phase of teething.
To care for and prolong the life span of your teething toy, wipe down with a damp cloth and mild soapy water only. Do not submerge in water, sterilise or freeze.
Let air dry completely before storing it away in a dry and well ventilated place. The beech wood components of our toys are naturally antibacterial & hypoallergenic.
We do recommend the application of a baby safe coconut oil, beeswax or similar to counteract (early) wear and tear after continuous contact with accelerators like saliva, food, dirt and similar.
Our Dummy Clips
Dummy clips are considered an accessory and are NOT A TOY or TEETHER!
The dummy clip should only ever be secured to your baby’s/ child’s clothing. Do not use while the baby/child is sleeping, lying in a cot or bassinet, being in a playpen or someplace else without adult supervision. Adult supervision required at all times. Please don’t let your baby/child play with or chew on this product. Do not attach toys, teethers or anything but a dummy to it. Please refer to our full product range for a great selection of safe & certified teethers and toys.
To prolong the mechanical functionality of the dummy clip, please ensure that the clip is only attached to thin materials, like baby’s romper, shirt or pants. Repeated attachment to materials that are too thick will result in the clasp wearing out over time and not close properly anymore, which then becomes a safety hazard. Please stop using your
child’s dummy clip as soon as wear or tear is evident.
